GIVE IN. GO ALL OUT.
Affamata is an à la carte restaurant that feels like a family lunch that got properly out of hand. Long tables, dishes that arrive in the middle to be shared, bold flavours from the Italian south and a terrace with the kind of view that makes a second glass of wine feel entirely reasonable. Fresh ingredients, time-honoured recipes and not a single dish designed to be photographed rather than eaten. Terrace tables go quickly in the evening. A reservation is always a good idea.
DON'T BE SHY. GET WHAT YOU WANT.
Lunch at Affamata is an unhurried affair. The terrace is warm, the dishes arrive in the right order and there is genuinely no reason to be anywhere else until mid-afternoon. Book a table and let the afternoon take care of itself.
HUNGRY EYES. EMPTY PLATES.
As the light fades over the bay, Affamata becomes something different. Quieter, warmer, with the evening settling in around you. The food is the same. The feeling is not. Evening tables with a bay view are the first to go.
LAST BITE. DON'T HOLD BACK.
The sharing menu is for the table, not the individual. Order generously, reach without asking and do not apologise for taking the last piece. That is the point.

BIG APPETITE NEEDED. SMALL TALK OPTIONAL.
Weekend brunch at Affamata is abundant, warm and unapologetically Italian. The kind of meal that becomes the best decision of the weekend.
NOT STAYING AT THE HOTEL? COME ANYWAY.
Affamata is open to everyone. Drive up, park easily, eat too much, watch the light go down over the bay. The best table on this coast does not require a room key. We are in Novi Vinodolski, half an hour from Rijeka.
